New paragraph
Xi Li was pivotal to that work and during her tenure at the university, Ms. Li initiated and put in place over forty new articulation agreements (in subjects ranging from engineering, business, social studies, and even the humanities). In addition, she oversaw the recruitment of more than a thousand students annually from China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. By so doing she contributed directly to the financial resilience of the university and to the diversity of our large international student community. Furthermore, she managed the university's two offices in mainland China with great professionalism and was a hugely valued member of the university campus in the UK (where she was formally based). Ms. Li was pivotal to the organization of two University of Sussex graduation ceremonies in China and has escorted, and organized, dozens of ambassadorial visits to Chinese partners on behalf of the President and senior university executives. Ms. Li has escorted me on ten trips to East Asia and I am constantly impressed by the depth and range of her contacts at almost every level of Chinese education -- from senior executives in the Ministry of Education, to University presidents, High School principals, the CEOs of China's leading international partnership & recruitment agencies, and in addition, many hundreds of operational colleagues who work in schools, universities, and recruitment agencies throughout East Asia. Having worked previously in the Australian Higher Education sector before moving to the United Kingdom, Ms Li has extensive expertise and an impressive track-record and portfolio of work in almost every part of the globe. I know, from speaking with many higher education leaders across China and Hong Kong, that Ms. Li is a highly valued, respected figure within international education and her professionally managed teams are always praised for their speed and excellence of service. In short, Xi Li is a consummate professional; a leader within East Asian higher education; a fabulous, entrepreneurial colleague with a generous and warm-hearted approach to work."
I am delighted to be collaborating with Cradle of Success for the provision of our in-country resource in China. Already within the first few weeks of our collaboration, the CEO, Ms Xi Li, has demonstrated an incredibly in-depth knowledge of the East Asia market and deep experience of how to leverage the best results for the institutions she works with. In 2020 we face truly unprecedented challenges in our international recruitment endeavours but I am reassured that we will respond correctly and in a timely manner to the many challenges that present themselves and with the support of Cradle of Success will ensure that we do make a success of our 2020 recruitment campaign.
We have already, after just a few weeks of collaboration, been introduced to a number of viable partner institutions for the development of recruitment partnerships and other forms of more in-depth partnership. Ms Xi Li is clearly well networked in a market where networks count for a great deal and is able to find suitable matches for partner institutions and support them through to the conclusion of agreements as well as having a clear focus and plan for how to realise the objectives of those partnerships beyond the signature stage, ensuring that partnerships become fruitful and mutually beneficial as we would all wish them to be.
As well as sourcing partner institutions, I have also been impressed by how quickly Xi Li was able to secure us an excellent member of staff to serve as our in-country representative in China, someone with considerable experience and a very professional manner – in short the ideal ambassador for the University in the country.
I am delighted to recommend Cradle of Success for services in China including both partnership development and the provision of in-country resource.
